Seriously low tickets for funny man George Wallace

Flamingo star headliner George Wallace wants to see people laughing even in this tough economy.

That is why he is offering customers two VIP tickets to his show and two dinners at the Paradise Garden Buffet in the Flamingo resort for only $99. The offer is through Feb. 14, 2009.

Wallace is a veteran comedian and host of the "Best 10 p.m. Show" in Las Vegas. He is a past winner of the American Comedy Award for "Best Stand-Up Comedian." He has been featured in his own HBO special, "One Night Stand" and has appeared in several major motion pictures.

The Paradise Garden Buffet is located in the Flamingo and features prime rib, carved fresh turkey, steamed mussels, roasted leg of lamb and several other tasty dishes. There is a dessert bar which includes an ice cream sundae station along with freshly baked pies, cakes, puddings and pastries.

Sweet Lucy’s at the Eastside Cannery Casino & Hotel announced the addition of the Express Buffet section to its regular menu. The Express Buffet brunch offers delicious breakfast and lunch items and a carving station. Brunch is $6.99 plus tax per person and includes a free glass of champagne, choice of dessert and beverage. The Express Buffet dinner goes for $7.99 plus tax per person and includes a choice of dessert and beverage.

Sweet Lucy’s regular menu offers a mix of meat, seafood and pasta entrées, all priced under $10. The "Sweet Lucy’s Special" offers the choice of Roasted Strip Loin Dinner or Popcorn Shrimp Dinner for only $7.99. Sweet Lucy’s is open for dinner Monday through Sunday from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Brunch is available Saturday and Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Poker Palace in North Las Vegas has a Mexican Combo Platter for $5.99 being offered in the café this month when you present a player’s club card to your server. The special is available 24/7.
