Just more short fields today as we look forward to the opening of Santa Anita on Dec. 26. There is not much to get excited about in this race as No. 5 One Vote will be over bet but is by far no cinch. No. 1 Doggie Bear is a Doug O’Neill dropper with the hot Rosario riding and No. 3 Our Man Luke looks to be on the improve. No. 6 Cold Ruler could be live at first asking in this soft field.
There is a lot of speed lined up for this 1 1/16 route and that may set things up for No. 2 Solo Performance who gets back on the main after a good try on the grass, he looks legged up for a top effort. No.2
This is one soft bunch, No. 6 Legs Eleven is a first time starter out of the Mike Puype barn, No.7 Strapless gets a big turn back in distance, gets off the grass and drops into an action spot, she will be flying late. No. 8 There Goes Gee Gee also turns back in distance and ran her best race one back at this same 5 ½ furlong distance and she also gets the services of the leading man. 6-7-8
No. 3 I Love Charley has big speed and is dropped to the bottom. No.5 Pirates Charm gets a big rider upgrade and will sit right off the heels of Charley. No. 8 Mama Chula don’t like to win races but could be sitting right off the speed and make one big late move. 1-5-8
No. 2 Ginobili exits our HTW list and looks spotted for a trip to the winners circle. We will bet him on the win end and make some exotics. One interesting horse in this race is No. 6 Talk Circuit 30/1 on the morning line and that is way off the mark. This guy has big time early foot and has won 5 of 10 lifetime starts. He almost took them wire to wire at 26/1 on the Santa Anita 6 ½ furlong turf course and he gets Nakatani in the boot, this guy is ultra live on the front end.
$10 win and place 2 for $20
$4 win and place 6 for $8
$6 Q 2 with 3-6-7-8 for $24
$2 Q 6 with 2-3-7-8 for $8
No. 1 Got Tobe Rio drops and is the speed on the rail, No. 4 Sorry Baby is in top form and No. 6 Casual Encounter comes off a nice win here on Nov. 12.
No.8 Nima’s Pad looks like a very good single, he is getting better, loves this track and looks set for another big effort. NO.5
$1 pick three
7th 8 for $12
No. 1 Justdontcallmejeri gets his first start off the Doug O’Neill claim and looks to have these over a barrel. No. 1
8th 1 for $10
$1 superfecta 1 with 4-5-8 with 4-5-8 with all for $24
GOLDEN GATE FIELDS
No. 3 Honour The West looks to have a pace advantage over these and will try and take them wire to wire, he will have to hold off No. 5 Crafty Power and No. 6 Blue Torpedo.
$4 Q 3 with 5-6 for $8
$1 tri box 3-5-6 for $6
Let’s go with the same number in the second race, a race that is loaded with early speed, maybe we can pop with a price. 3-5-6
2nd 3-5-6 for $18
No. 3 Hornung looks like a short priced winner for trainer Craig Dollase, we will single in the pick four. No.3
No. 4 Smoocher is kept at this 4k level off a nice win so the for sale sign is still up as the connections try to win and dump, he does exit our HTW list but will be too short of a price to make a win bet. No. 5 Devil Cielo just ran behind Smoocher and No. 6 River Rebel has the speed to get a jump on the top two. 4-5-6
$1 pick four
4th 4-5-6 for $27
No. 4 Ryan’s Jaded Star will go better at this longer distance, No. 8 will be coming with a big late run. 4-8
5th 4-8 for $12
This one is impossible so we will take a shot at hitting a big dime super box using 1-3-5-8-10
.10 cent super box 1-3-5-8-10 for $12
Scheduled for the grass so beware incase it comes off, if on the green we will go with another dime super box 2-3-5-6-10 if it comes off just make a little win and place bet on No. 11 Moscato.
Key Play turf only
.10 cent super box 2-3-5-6-10 for $12
This one stinks a whole lot, if wanting to play go with the speed No. 3 Mr. Nutcracker or No. 7 San Miguel King. 3-7
CHECK FOR LATE SCRATHES
