Mount Union (-7, Las Vegas Hilton SuperBook) vs. Wisconsin-Whitewater (espn2): The Purple Raiders (14-0) make their annual appearance in this Division III championship game in Salem, Virginia tomorrow morning. Last year the Warhawks (13-1) upset Mount Union, 31-21, but the Purple Raiders have won this game nine times in 12 appearances and will want a little bit of revenge here.

In getting to this point in the playoffs, Mt. Union has dismantled its opponents 184-45 and feature a talented QB-RB tandem in Greg Micheli (3,515 yards, 34 TD passes) and Nate Kmic (1,700 yards, 42 TDs, most in college football history). Also in Mt. Union’s backfield is Scott Panchick.

The Purple Raiders are 60-10 record in the playoffs and have the best winning percentage and most wins in all of college football since 1990 (244-11-1, .954). And since 1996, the Purple Raiders are a mind-boggling 95-0 when winning the turnover battle. Mount Union is also tops in the nation with 49 sacks.

Wisconsin-Whitewater is led by QB Jeff Donovan (15 TDs, 2,419 passing yards), RB Levell Coppage (1,471, 21 TDs) and RB Antwan Anderson (1,114 yards, 11 TDs) and can hang with anyone. But Micheli is the player to watch in this game which will be very entertaining.

The weather forecast in Salem on Saturday (from The Weather Channel) is 53 degrees and cloudy so the weather probably won’t play much of a factor in this title game.
