1:05 p.m. PT in Denver

Bills +6 at Broncos (45)

When sizing up this game a few hours before kickoff, we suggest waiting until you think the San Diego outcome is certain before wagering on this one. Since we’re trying to give you a tip and don’t have the luxury of time, a low score may be the way to look. First QB Trent Edwards plays his first game in several weeks for Buffalo and may come out cold in -1 degree wind chill.

Also the Bills have nothing to play for. We’re not sure about Denver. The Broncos win the AFC West if San Diego loses to Tampa Bay. If the Chargers win, the Broncos will for sure come out with great energy so as not to allow next week’s game at San Diego decide the division winner. It’s always a good idea to play under the total in bitter weather conditions and this game promises to be that. Plus, if Denver is already in the playoffs, the cold weather will make for a conservative game plan. UNDER.
