I WANT REVENGE: Just put in a huge effort in the Cashcall Futurity when finishing second by a nose to the highly-regarded Pioneer of the Nile. This Jeff Mullins trainee can flat out run and is a must follow on the Kentucky Derby trail. $$$$$

LEMON PUNCH: Was coming off the vets list so something went wrong with her. She looked good on the track and made a nice late run. She may need just a little longer distance to get the job done.

CHOBE CHIKA: Ran big in her first start, but just did not repeat that effort in start No. 2. She may have bounced so give her a big shot to run back to her first effort in her next start.

NAN: Was in from New York for trainer Craig Dollase and got hammered at the windows. Ran to her backing. Looks like a real up-and-comer.

JUSTDONTCALLMEJERI: Looked to be sitting on the maiden breaker in this spot, but got nailed on the line by a horse he beat the last time very easily. That’s why this game is so difficult. Look for Jeri to redeem himself next time out. Use him as a single.

LEGS ELEVEN: First-time starter looked good on the track and ran well to finish third. Claimed by Mike Mitchell, who just doesn’t make many mistakes. Look for this girl to improve big time in start No. 2 for her new connections.

ORIENTATION HALL: Was being stretched out for the first time and took to the longer distance like a duck to water. This guy has always shown some talent and maybe is finally putting it all together.

WILD YANKEE: Was exiting our HTW list and won going away, paying a very nice $9.80 for the win and $6.80 for place. He won so easily we will just keep him on the list and watch him move back up the ladder.

KISS KISS KISS: Was crowded early and very rank as she wanted to be let loose. The jock let her go on the turn, but she got fanned five wide. Still she stormed home and won going away with something left.

DESPEATE: If able to find a race with some pace, this girl will be very tough with her closing kick.

LITTLE BUG: May have been best in here, but was steadied hard early and had to fall back. She got going late and finished a clear third by some six lengths.

OMI’S BACK: Has the misfortune of running into a very live Hollywood shipper and had to settle for second. Still he finished five lengths clear of the rest. $$$$$

DREAM BABY DREAM: In from Houston. Just ran a big time race and won like a real good thing. She got claimed by Hess and looks to move up and repeat.

MERUS MAIMI: Just ran big time in the Gold Rush Stakes and may be able to compete with the big boys.
