No. 6 Kula Girl comes off a three month layoff for trainer Ted West, she has big time speed and will have to be caught; No. 4 Mark Set Go gets a turn back in distance and a drop in class by Mitchell and will make a late run at Kula Girl. 4-6

Race 2

No. 2 Slammin Kat is a first time starter with very live connections, No. 5 Dothewist is a first time starter that has been working up a storm, No. 6 Dancing Erin has high speed and if none of the first time starter go with her she is gone. No. 7 Aunt Grace will improve in start #2. 2-5-6-7

No. 5 In Summation has the class and is three for three at his 5½ furlong distance, he has also won two times here at Santa Anita for trainer Clement. No.5
