Celtics -10 at Knicks (208)

If ever a team needed a jump-start, it’s the New York Knicks. And there’s no better team to get fired up about than the world champion Boston Celtics. That’s the backdrop at famed Madison Square Garden where the Knicks desperately need a spark to overturn a 1-5 record both straight up and against the number in the last six outings. All that "Mike D’Antoni leading us to the playoffs talk" has subsided after hitting the bottom of the Atlantic Division at 12-19.

Meanwhile, the Celtics are looking down at everyone in the Atlantic with a 29-5 record that includes wins of 19 and 9 points this season against the Knicks. Both those victories, however, were in Boston. Lately the road has not been kind to the Celts, losing at the LA Lakers, Golden State and Portland. Prior to the West Coast trip was a narrow 3-point victory at Atlanta. For sure the Garden crowd will be jacked up and double-digits seem too many in what used to be one of the NBA’s best rivalries. KNICKS.
