Race 1

No. 2 Thunder and Ice and No. 3 Dizzy Up the Girl could hook up early and allow No. 4 Our Road Scholar to run them down at the wire, the fact that Rosario takes over the mount on No. 3 Dizzy Up the Girl may mean he may take off a hot pace. 3-4

Race 2

No. 5 Turn to the King looks well spotted off the maiden breaker, he gets blinkers and the ultra hot Gomez sticks. No. 3 Mixed Berries has not been seen since the Fairplex meet but these Fairplex horses have been running good here at Santa Anita and this guy could be live with Bejarano in the irons for Mike Mitchell. 3-5

Key Play

$2 double

1st 3-4

2nd 3-5 for $8

Race 3

No. 1 Krueger Park is the only one in here that has won on this 6½ furlong downhill course, he looks good once again but his rail post will hinder his best shot. No.2 Medzendeekron whose sire is Unusual Heat whose off spring just love this layout; h e ran a good one in his one and only on this course last February and he will get a great set up today to launch his big late kick. No. 6 Talk of a Cat exits a key race and has the best post and its Pletcher, Gomez and the blinkers come off. 1-2-6

Key Play

$1 pick three

1st 3-4

2nd 3-5

3rd 1-2-6 for $12

$2 exacta box 1-2-6 for $12

Race 4

3yo state-bred fillies stretching out to a flat mile, No. 4 Imforeal will show all of her speed and there are few better jocks on the front end then Chantal Sutherland. No.4

Key Play

$10 win and place 4 for $20

Race 5

No. 3 Voodoo’s Run exits our HTW list and looks to have found a soft field, No. 2 Pacific Halo had run down the lane in his first start and this 5yo gelding looks live on the move up and gets blinkers for start #2. No. 9 Twisted Lyric is a 6yo who was last seen on October of 06, he was well bet that day on the old Santa Anita dirt, he is still a horse and they paid 300k for him at one time. 2-3-9

$2 exacta box 2-3-9 for $12

$10 win and place 3 for $20

Race 6

No. 5 No Ka Oi exits our HTW list and gets her first start off the Steve Knapp claim, she is in tough but will offer a very nice price. No. 7 Foxy Games loves this course, she has high speed and will have to be caught; she beat No Ka Oi by a head last time out. No. 9 Brendolyn will be a short price with Gomez but will have to come from far back, she does however look one two with this group. No. 10 Pat the Cool Cat gets the three best of the draw and has won three of her four starts on this course. 5-7-9-10

Key Play

$1 tri box 5-7-9-10 for $24

$1 key tri 9 with 5-7-8-10 with 5-7-8-10 for $12

$1 key tri 5-7-8-10 with 9 with 5-7-8-10 for $12

Race 7

No. 2 Its in God’s Hands will be out winging along with No.10 Draft Choice, that could set things up for No.1 Devoted Magic who gets his first start off the Jerry Hollendorfer claim and also gets a huge rider upgrade and No. 6 One Chin Again a Doug O’Neill comebacker. 1-2-6-10

Race 8

The question here is who will go to the front, it just could be 20/1 shot No. 4 Lady Dawn who was last seen showing some speed in a 4½ furlong race at Fairplex, she shows back here as one of two entered by Doug O’Neill, she also has low profile jock Arambula in the irons and when you see him riding for O’Neill you better take notice as he has three wins and two second from five mounts for O’Neill. No. 6 Moon Moment ran good in her one try at this distance and jockey Bejarano sticks. 4-6

Key Play

$2 double

7th 1-2-6-10

8th 4-6 for $16

GOLDEN GATE FILEDS (dark today but will resume racing on Thursday)
