Pacers +10 at Jazz (220)
Indiana is on the fifth and final stop of its road trip from NBA hell. It began with a 135-115 loss at Denver and finishes at Utah, a team coming off two straight home wins by double-digits. The 220 total may seem high, but 233 wasn’t enough last night at Golden State where the Warriors prevailed 120-117. This is the first time on the trip that the Pacers have played on back-to-back nights so fatigue has factor in.
It would be tempting to think yet another Indiana game will exceed 220, since the previous four have on this road swing. But Jerry Sloan prides Utah on defense and when the Jazz win they shut opposing teams down. Detroit managed just 82 points and New Orleans only 90 in impressive Utah victories by 17 and 26 respectively. Utah has won five straight at home and should extend that streak by margin to 6. JAZZ.
