On Thursday, Arizona Charlie’s Decatur will open a new 2,500-square-foot section of the casino that will feature 105 of the latest slot and video gaming machines.

"Moving the Sourdough Café left us with some valuable space across from the gift shop," said Ron Lurie, executive vice president and general manager of the casino on Decatur Blvd. near Charleston. "The new gaming space that we created will allow for better flow and wheelchair access while still providing players with state-of-the-art slots and video poker."

Machines are available from 1¢ to $5 denominations, including Arizona Charlie’s famous $1 Triple Play and $2 Double Double Bonus Poker progressives.

In addition to adding to the casino’s 1,290 slot and video poker machines, the new casino section will allow for the configuring of a new slot tournament area on the floor.
