Warriors +8½ at Rockets (214½)
Golden State is 6-9 overall in its last 15 games, but only once sustained a loss of more than eight points. The Warriors laid an egg in Dallas, losing 117-93 but bounced back in their last outing to upset New Orleans 91-87. In fact, in two of their last three games the Warriors have held opponents to 92 or less – and that’s news for a team not known for defense.
Houston is both 1-3 overall and against the spread in their last four outings. The Rockets have gone 15 games since being favored by 8 or more points. Houston was an 8-point chalk against Milwaukee back on Dec. 31 and only won 85-81. Golden State is just 15-32 overall, but only two games below .500 (22-24) against the spread. Meanwhile Houston at 28-19 is a disappointing 21-26 ATS. We see Golden State hanging in. WARRIORS.
