Saturday at Palace Station there will be another big giveaway and if you were there for the first one you do not want to miss the second time. For every $20 bet on the ponies you will bet a drawing ticket for a shot at free rooms, food, shows and much much more. Drawings will be after every race at Santa Anita.

SANTA ANITA

Race 1

Early speed usually wins these types of 40k maiden claimers and the two that have run that have the most early foot are No. 6 One Vote and No. 9 Belongs To Gotham. Of the first time starters No. 4 De Brief Me is out of a Dam that has three winners from three starters. 4-6-9

Race 2

The undefeated No. 3 Rail Trip may be the second coming as stated by California Turf writer Ed Golden, he will get a lot of early pressure today from No. 5 Booyah and that could set up a perfect trip for No. 1 Dixie Meister who just may get a rail trip. 1-3

Race 3

No. 3 Congaree Park should love the grass as his Dam Kings Daughter has sent out two grass winners and his speed will prove tough on this course. No. 5 Our Man Luke exits our HTW list, he is in very tough but will offer some great betting value. No. 10 Meteore gets back on the grass and he ran his best race on the green at Hollywood in December.

No. 1 Bewitching Bartok gets his first start off of the Jerry Hollendorfer claim and this 8yo gelding is tough as nails. No. 3 Idaho Joe has good early speed and ran second to Bartok last time out. No. 4 Make Mine Vodka just stormed home last time out and will be coming late once again. 1-3-4

No. 1 Motu Nui shows up in the Mitchell barn and gets Gomez, No. 2 Grey Babe broke her maiden at this distance and may get some good pace to make her late run. No. 7 Melody Makin has run four good races from four starts. 1-2-7

Maidens going down the hill in this 6½ furlong turf course, all we have are questions and very few answers, we will go with two first time starters that are bred to run on the grass, No. 6 Dynamic Range (Dynaformer (Roberto) and No. 8 El Rapido. 6-8

No. 1 Onetimeatbandcamp and No. 3 Devoted Magic will both get a hot pace to launch their big late runs, they could end up first and second if the speed duel goes like it looks.

No. 3 Really Surprised improved with the drop last time out and now gets R Baze, No. 4 Preachersboys is out of the John F. Martin barn that has been on fire and No. 6 North Of Time will be coming with a big late run. 3-4-6
