The Indiana Jones series of video slots from IGT have always been popular with players, and now those games have been enhanced with the latest versions from the slot making giant.
Two new titles, Treasure of the Incas and Multi-way Well of Souls, feature multi-level progressives and an industry-first group play bonus round, all on IGT’s newly-released widescreen format.
The Treasure of the Incas game has a 5-reel, 25-payline while the Multi-way Well of Souls offers a 5-reel game with 243 ways to win. The excitement ratchets up a notch when the bonus round is triggered, which allows more than one player to enter the round at the same time.
At that point, up to four progressives may be awarded to an individual player or distributed among several players.
The base game features Wild and Scatter Pay symbols, and players betting any amount and number of paylines are eligible for the multi-level progressive bonus.
When the bonus kicks in, the machines will be awarded free spins, which are enhanced with multipliers, based on the size of the players’ wagers.
Machines selected for the bonus are given an award screen for 10 free spins with a Stacked Wilds feature, plus a multiplier ranging from one to 99, based on probability and player’s average coin-in.
Thus, those players who bet higher amounts have higher odds of getting a bigger multiplier during the bonus round.
Players who don’t make the bonus round but continue playing the base game have a greater chance of entering the next shared bonus round.
At the end of the free spins, each player chooses an on-screen icon that will reveal if they won the given progressive or additional credits.
One lucky player will win the progressive at the end of the free spins, and all others will receive additional credits.
The penny version of the game is configured for a 250 credit maximum, while the nickel version has a 100-credit max.
The slot game is enhanced with movie clips from the "Indiana Jones" movies, and the new platform features enhanced graphics and sound effects, plus a 23-inch monitor for the video slot game and a 32-inch LCD screen for the bonus progressives.
