The Mountain West Conference regular season is down to the last two weeks and New Mexico has a shot at an-large big to the Dance if able to run the slate. The first of the five-game quest is at The Pit tonight against a TCU squad that seen the bottom come out of its season. The Horned Frogs are 1-8 both SU and ATS in their last nine to fall from 13-4 overall to 14-13.
TCU lost the first meeting with New Mexico by 17 in Fort Worth and dropped games of 17 points to San Diego State and 14 to UNLV. The Lobos are 8-3 both SU and ATS in their last 11. The game means a lot more to New Mexico and the momentum is with them. The 15 points is a large spot, but the Lobos were favored by 15½ at home against Wyoming and won by 29. NEW MEXICO.
