Last week I went out to Aliante Station and it was well worth the trip.
The casino floor was designed for the comfort and ease of the slot player. All the slot banks are set up with only three or four machines to a side. There is enough room to walk between rows without bumping into players even if the seats are full on both sides.
The change/ticket redemption booths are easy to locate and a good sized non-smoking section with a nice variety of slots/video poker machines. Last and by far not least were the height adjustable seats at the slots. Not on just a few special machines, mind you, but on all the machines!
At least I didn’t see any that weren’t and I walked around the whole casino.
Even the cocktail waitresses were great. After you ordered they got back quickly with your drinks.
I found most all my favorites and several new slot games (which of course I had to try), including one of my very favorites Lotus Flower. It’s an IGT 5-reel 20-payline penny slot with a 20x max bet. I played 60 cents (20 lines at 3x)
I’ve played Lotus Flower slot in almost every casino I go into. If I put in $20 and drop down to $10 without anything exciting happening, I’ll put in another $5 (sometimes just $1), which most of the time triggers a positive response.
The pink lotus flower is the wild symbol, while the lotus leaf with a dragonfly is the bonus. The other picture symbols are inspired by an Asian goldfish pond (ducks, goldfish, even an Asian baby holding a goldfish who giggles when you get three or more of him on a pay-line.)
Three or more scattered symbols take you to the 15 free bonus spins. And you can retrigger for more free spins during the bonus. The great thing is that during the free spins all of the picture symbols are wild and match everything except the scatter. I retriggered and got a total of 30 free spins with a bonus win of $42.60.
