SANTA ANITA

Race 1

No. 1 Just Charmed may have been moved a tad too early by Gomez in his first going long, you won’t see that same mistake today. No. 5 Jan’s Ruling Angle and No. 6 Funny Me will both be coming with a late run. 1*-5-6

Key Play

$6 exacta 1 with 5-6 for $12

$2 exacta 5-6 with 1 for $4

Race 2

No. 2 Brent’s Passion exits our HTW list; she showed high speed in her first start while battling tooth and nail from start to finish. This girl has some heart and if she doesn’t bounce off that huge try she will win. 2

Key Play

$20 win and place 2 for $40

Race 3

No. 2 Vespucci could not run down Kris Silver in his last race but in that race Silver had the front end all by himself and that won’t be the case today. 2

Key Play

$10 win and place 2 for $20

Race 4

No. 2 Spurrier drops and exits a key race. No. 4 Sensational Score exits the same race and looks like the key in here. No. 6 Marenostrum will have to be caught while No. 7 Pistol Pete Afleet is in top form and exits our HTW list. 2-4-6-7

Key Play

$2 double

4th 2-4-6-7

5th 1-2 for $16

Race 6

No. 2 Dailies continues her drop in class but her speed and this 7 furlong distance may get her home today. No. 7 Kentucky Nectar just got a horrible ride last time out and you can just toss that race, she drops one level today for trainer Doug O’Neill who hits at a rate of around 28% with this move plus the blinkers go on and a new jock rides. 2-7

Key Play

$2 double

Race 8

No. 2 General Buffet has speed and that is what wins these cheap maiden races; she will sit right off the early pace and pounce. No. 4 Goodlookindude will be on the front end with Buffet shadowing him. 2-4

Key Play

GOLDEN GATE FIELDS

Race 1

We will go with No. 5 Lil Legal Linda who ships in for O’Neill and gets Baze, she will be odds on so we will just single in the pick four. 5

Race 2

No. 2 Stanford Dolly will get the perfect setup for her late run and the price may be okay. 2

Key Play

$6 win and place 2 for $12

Race 3

Any of the five entered can win so we will use an all in the pick four and hope for some kind of price. All

Race 4

No. 1 E Street Federici is another O’Neill shipper with high speed that attracts Baze. No. 3 El Tejon will be a big price and may be sitting off a hot pace and make one big late move. 1-3

Key Play

$1 pick four

2nd 2

3rd all

4th 1-3 for $10

Race 5

No. 1 Man Law has been in a funk of late but turns back in distance too 5 ½ furlongs and gets the jock back on that won with him last time at this distance. No.3 Breezy Johnny will have to be caught. 1-3

Race 6

No. 1 Yorkville Kid is 20/1 on the morning line but sometimes when a horse finally breaks their maiden after many losses they come right back and light it up. No. 2 Sovereign Ruler and No. 4Sky Patriot are the main ones in here. 1-2-4

Race 7
