Race 1

2yo going 2 furlongs we will recommend a pass but if you want to take a flyer and play some doubles you could use one or both of the Walther Solis trained 2yo, No. 5 Action Call and No. 8 Turbo Time. Solis has had a lot of success the past few years with 2yo and the price is usually a good one. 2-8

Race 2

No. 2 Phantom Wildcat is a David Hofmans comebacker with speed, this 4yo has only raced two times last year but they have not given up on this pricey 4yo colt. No. 5 Wharf Cat has big speed and jockey Alex Solis takes over the mount. 2-5

Race 3

No. 1 Legs Eleven gets back on the main after a failed attempt at the grass, she also has her claming price cut from 50k too 20k as they go all out for the win. No.5 Twoformeoneforyou gets her third start off the layoff usually a horse’s best, she will be making her big late run. 1-5

Key Play

$2 double

2nd 2-5

3rd 1-5 for $8

Race 4

No. 4 Paloma’s Flight is always right there at the finish but can’t seem to break through lately, maybe the switch to the pro ride will do the trick. No. 5 Victory Dancer just won here at this distance off the layoff and looks set for another big effort. 4-5

Key Play

2nd 2-5

4th 4-5 for $16

$2 double

3rd 1-5

Race 5

No. 4 Extravagant gets Gomez off the layoff, she drops into a maiden claimer for the first time and her speed will take her a long way. No. 5 Magic Lunch is the one to beat but has failed the last two times vs. straight maidens at 6/5 and even money and now the drop into this 40k maiden claimer. 4-5

Race 6

No. 2 Oceanography is owned and trained by Bobby Frankel, he drops him like a hot potato as he searches for the win and the dump. No. 7 Changing was claimed off a win his first start in the U.S., he now gets a confident hike in class by the sneaky Avila. 2-7

Race 7

No. 1 Nima’s Pad looks to regain his good form as his main jockey Bejarano gets back in the irons, look for a big rebound. No. 7 On Fire is in from Florida where he ran second in his two races at Gulfstream Park, this one will be making a big late run. 1-7

Race 8

No. 4 Joint Agreement won’t find an easier bunch of 25k maidens in Southern California it’s now or head North. No. 5 Secret Potion looks like a solid threat as does No. 7 Keepsake Copy. It is interesting to note that jockey Rosario rode Secret Potion the last three times but ops for Copy who he rode the last time and Bejarano who rode Copy one race back get on Secret Potion. 4-5-7
