OXFORD BEATS CAMBRIDGE AT -330

The Las Vegas Hilton SuperBook had a nice breakfast wager to lead into the NCAA basketball tourney Sunday. The famed 155th Boat Race between Oxford and Cambridge took place in London and televised on one of ESPN-U. Oxford was the solid -330 betting favorite and made the price stand up with its 75th career victory. Underdog Cambridge (+270) took the early lead before Oxford caught them and rowed to a 3½-length victory.

TIGER BITES INTO MASTERS ODDS

Tiger Woods has now become an even more prohibitive favorite to win the Masters (April 9-12 at Augusta National). After his 66th PGA Tour victory and sixth at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, the Las Vegas Hilton dropped Woods from 11-4 to 7-4. Phil Mickelson, who will be playing this week at the Houston Open, remained at 7-1. Everyone else is 20-1 or more. For longshots keep an eye on past Masters champ Zach Johnson at 50-1 and rising star Nick Watney at 60-1.
