2 FOR TUESDAY Richard Saber...last week: 3-0, 2009 record: 17-21

BREWERS AT GIANTS (1:05 p.m.)

Cy Young winner Tim Lincecum starts the home season for the Giants against a Milwaukee team that took a huge hit losing CC Sabathia and Ben Sheets from the pitching staff. GIANTS.

PIRATES at CARDINALS (5:15 p.m.)

Pittsburgh opens up with Ian Snell, who may be the best of a pitching staff that has a lot to prove. St. Louis starter Kyle Lohse is 3-0 lifetime against Pittsburgh and off a big comeback season a year ago. CARDINALS. Bonus: Los Angeles Angels.

2 FOR TUESDAY Mark Mayer... last week: 2-1, 2009 record: 22-17

BREWERS at GIANTS (1:05 p.m.)

I have to side with Mr. Saber on this one. San Francisco will be riding its potentially great starting rotation led by today’s starter Tim Lincecum. Brewers will ride their offense, but not this day. GIANTS.

NATIONALS at MARLINS (4:10 p.m.)

Adam Dunn in the cleanup spot just may give the Nats a kick in their step early on. Washington’s starting pitcher Scott Olsen was with the Marlins last year so he should know that lineup pretty well. NATIONALS... Bonus: Atlanta Braves.
