Hall of Fame jockey Mike Smith, who rode Giacomo to a 50-1 upset in the 2005 Kentucky Derby, will ride Santa Anita Derby runner-up Chocolate Candy in the 135th Run for the Roses on May, trainer Jerry Hollendorder said Friday.

Smith replaces Joel Rosario, who rode Chocolate Candy in the Santa Anita Derby. Hollendorfer, one of only four trainers with more than 5,000 career victories, said Chocolate Candy would work at Santa Anita Monday before leaving Thursday, April 16, for Kentucky.
