NBA playoffs (Game 4)
5:35 p.m. PT at New Orleans
Nuggets +2½ at Hornets (193½)
Call it zig zag or the fact Denver has covered all three games in the series, but New Orleans is a smaller favorite in Game 4 despite winning Game 3. The Hornets held on for a 2-point victory as a 4½-point chalk after losing the first two games in Denver by 29 and 15 points. Chris Paul finally had a breakout 30-point game, but the Hornets are just 2-6 against the number in the last 8 and 7-14 in the past 21.
Denver guard Chauncey Billups was finally held under 20 after two huge games at home. Clearly he made the Nuggets better since being acquired from Detroit for Allen Iverson. The Nuggets are 11-4 against the spread in their last 15. We will back the zig zag and say the Nuggets will send the series back to Denver ready to clinch in Game 5. NUGGETS.
