CHICK CHICK: Last seen running at Del Mar. Showed up here in the last race of the meet at Santa Anita and blitzed the crew.

FLUTTERCAT: First time starter was well bet, but got squeezed at the start. The jockey had to pull her up. Look for this girl to rebound with a big effort.

TOO HOT FOR YOU: Mike Mitchell trainee ran huge off the layoff, finishing a strong third. This girl will be set for a trip to the winner’s circle at Hollywood.

SPEIGHT THE HALO: Was last seen going off as the 7-5 chalk over I Want Revenge at Del Mar last year. He looked so very good, but could not run down the other comebacker. Next time.

KILDERRY: Was down on the rail in this 6½ furlong downhill turf sprint at Santa Anita. Just got out too late as the winner had the jump. Could have been a prep for a longer one at Hollywood.

STREET ROYALE: Was just too close to the pace in his last start. This guy needs a patient ride and a hot pace to chase.

UNBRIDLED MEETING: 2yo first time starter ran fine in his first start going 2 furlongs when finishing up a good third. This guy could pop next out at 4½.

SATELLITE: Tough gelding is in top form and won this $12,500 claimer despite trouble. He knows where the finish line is. A must use in the exotics.

STARLARKS: Was pulling her jockey out of the saddle. She got between horses and had to be checked off heels going down the hill in this 6½ furlong turf sprint. Made a late surge to pick up the show dough. This girl will love the 6 furlong Hollywood turf course. Take a shot. $$$$$

ACTION IN MAY: Was back from Golden Gate after running a strong third. Had a horrible trip, finishing a better than looked sixth. Redtagged by trainer Craig Dollase, who is having some success at Golden Gate. You may see this guy back at the Gate in the very near future. $$$

HOMEMADE BREW: Steadied off heels from the upper stretch until midstretch. Then he split horses to win clear for low profile jock Russell, who had two wins at the meet. Both were on this horse for trainer Ted West.

RICHEST WAGER: Broke slow and was next to last. Made a wide run on her own and was flying late picking up the show money in what was a great prep for longer distances. $$$$$

JUDGE’S VERDICT: Just did miss as one of three noses on the wire. Looks set off the layoff.

PHANTOM ALI: Likes this turf course and won easily in her last start. Should repeat.

REUCCIO: First time starter had no shot at the runaway winner, but was clear of the rest. If able to clear early in next start, he will be long gone.

SUPER PLAN: Ran a winning race at 14-1, but just lost in the last jump by a head to the odds-on Baze filly. This girl can run and won’t be a maiden long. $$$$$

CASSIES MARK: Had an eventful trip as she was up close to the pace. Dropped back only to come on again. This girl is ready for a win.

BAZZOM: Interesting horse as he was last seen running with the big boys at Saratoga in 2008. Showed up here in a 4K claimer and won for fun. Maybe trainer O’Neill put this one over at 3-1.
