CHURCHILL DOWNS

Race 1

No. 3 Uno Peso broke her maiden here in November going a flat mile in the mud, No. 6 Satin Thunder broke her maiden on this course at this 1 1/16 distance.

Race 2

No. 4 Lost Village has the right style for this race and should be a nice price for low profile connections. No. 5 Sweet Euphoria has good tracking speed and gets the services of Bejarano. No. 6 Multpass is in from Gulfstream Park where she has been turfing and should be legged up for this race. 4-5-6

Race 3

No. 4 Chapel Affair looks like the key filly in this race with the very good combo of McPeek/Desormeaux. No. 3 Desired looks to be coming around for trainer Matz and Gomez says he will ride. No. 8 June Day has been a money burner in her three lifetime starts but is a must use. 4 with 3-8

Race 4

No. 1 St. Augustine is a live comebacker for trainer Zito, that was a very tough race he was in at Belmont Park last September. No. 3 Cinna Man could light it up if he is ready and Kent D says he will take a shot with this 20/1 shot.

Race 5

No. 7 Reynaldothewizard was highly regarded last year and looks set for a big effort in his second start off the layoff and he did break his maiden here last July. No. 8 Brother Keith and No. 9 Warrior’s Reward look to be the Wizard’s main foes.

Race 6

Turf only selections, No. 2 Smart Enough and No. 6 Chamberlain Bridge are course and distance specialist at this 5 furlong turf sprint distance, Smart Enough has two wins and a second from three starts here at the Downs and is eight for 14 at this distance, Bridge is two for two here at the Downs and is six for 12 at the distance. 2-6

Race 7

The Louisville will pit the undefeated No. 2 Amazon Zenyatta 9 for 9 against the undefeated No. 4 One Caroline 5 for 5 and 2 for 2 here at Churchill and both at this 1 1/16 distance. The home field and pace advantage go to One Caroline, this may be a good race to play a house Q.

Race 8

No. 4 Abbott Hall had her prep and is ready to fire her best shot today in the Edgewood. No. 7 Magical Affair is a real up and comer and is in top form for trainer Matz. 4-7

Race 9

In the Alysheba G3 No. 4 Cool Coal Man will get a great tracking trip with J R in the irons, No. 5 Bullsbay is undefeated here at Churchill and is three for three at this 1 1/16 distance. No. 7 Shift in Power looks live at 20/1 with John Court riding.

Race 10

American Turf G3, these are for the grass only, No. 1 Stormalory has won both of his starts at this distance on the grass and the last race was on a yielding course and that is what he may find today, No. 8 Bunker Hill 20/1 on the morning line looks like a very sneaky comebacker for trainer Ryan.

Race 11

KENTUCKY OAKS GR1

Do any of these girls have a chance to defeat No. 6 Rachel Alexandra 3/5 on the morning line, if someone commits to a suicide pace No. 5 Justwhistledixie may just be whistling by them all down the lane, if no one can go with her she will be gone, gone, gone. No. 8 Flying Spur second behind Rachel last time out and may once again pick up some pieces late and round out the trifecta. 5-6 with 5-6 with 8, this one may also be a nice house Q to play and hope whistle wins.

Race 12

No. 2 Showboater ran two good races at Santa Anita going a mile on the grass and if this stays on the green, look for her to be coming late. No. 6 Kiddari gets her first shot at the grass but the connections of Mott/Desormeaux move her way up. 2-6 (turf only).

CHECK FOR LATE SCRATCHES and RACES BEING TAKEN OFF THE GRASS.

Key Play

$20 win 5

Race 4

No. 1 Susan’s Wildcat had a monster work here on April 26 going :58 flat for five furlongs and that is faster then these can run, if she didn’t leave it on the track this race is over. No. 7 Dextera will be trying to run them down late while comebacker No. 8 Good Time Sally ran some winning races on the grass last year and is very unlucky to still be a maiden. 1-7-8

Race 6

No. 4 Jan’s Ruling Angle drops trying to cash and likes this distance.

Race 7

No. 2 Maui Mark goes from dirt to turf and his trainer Howard Zucker hits at around 45% with this move. No. 3 Cardinal Zin ran a good race on this 6 furlong turf course last December and looks set for a big effort. 2-3

Race 8

No. 1 Judge Kent has run second in four of his eight starts so his win spirit is lacking but he has found a real soft group of 25k maiden claimers, No. 5 Llamada Perdida is lightly raced gets M Baze and this looks like the money run, No. 8 Mamoonya ran okay in his first try at this distance, if he can improve off that effort he will be right there. 1-5-8

Race 2

No. 5 Made For Magic lost by a nostril last time and now gets a rider upgrade which should do the trick. 5

Race 3

No. 1 Astraea drops into a good spot for win #2.

Race 4

No. 2 Vested Alliance will hold better today, No. 6 Groovy Chick will try and wire them.

Race 5

Key Play

$10 win and place 4 for $20

Race 6

2yo going 4 furlongs so do some board watching, the main kids look to be No. 1 Days Of Lightning, No. 2 Smiling Tiger and No. 7 Club Benfica.

Race 7

No. 2 Old Ed gets back on the main after a failed turf try and he has won with this move in the past. No. 3 Putmeinyourwill drops trying to cash and No. 4 Dance Chief will also go better on the main and ran behind Old Ed one back. 2-3-4

Key Play

$2 exacta box 2-3-4 for $12

$2 tri box 2-3-4 for $12

Race 8

This is one bad race but if you are playing some picks take a shot with comebacker dropper No. 6 Skim The Pool. 6
