Casino operator Ameristar Casinos Inc. on Friday said it will offer $500 million in senior unsecured notes due 2014.
The Las Vegas-based company plans to use proceeds to prepay and permanently retire part of revolving loans outstanding under its senior secured credit facility.
Shares rose 98 cents, or 4.7 percent, to $21.76 during afternoon trading. The stock has traded between $4.64 and $23 over the past year.
