WSOP to christen bracelet ceremonies

May 12, 2009 5:00 PM

The 40th World Series of Poker is just two weeks away, and with it begins a new tradition: all World Series of Poker bracelet winners will be treated to a special ceremony the day after their victory.

Each gold bracelet winner will be asked to return to the Amazon Room at the Rio following their win to receive their Corum gold bracelet in an official ceremony presided over by WSOP Commissioner Jeffrey Pollack.

Corum, one of the world’s leading watchmakers, returns in 2009 to produce the official gold bracelets.

In addition, each new bracelet holder will receive a new Total Rewards Card. As is custom for WSOP winners, Harrah’s Entertainment awards "Diamond" status – an exclusive club reserved for Harrah’s best customers – to all bracelet holders for a year.
