Race 1

No. 4 Ben’s Bullet, No. 5 Eisenheim and No. 8 Dubai Rainbow all exit the same race and could be the trifecta. No. 6 Dubai will be the chalk but his four seconds and two thirds from nine starts indicate his lacking of win spirit and either of the other two can win.

Race 2

No. 4 Bamaha Breeze ships in from Golden Gate for sharp trainer Steven Miyadi, he tries the grass and five furlong both for the first time but this guy has won five of seven lifetime starts. No. 5 Get Funky has won both starts at this five furlongs on the grass but will need some pace to make his late run. No. 6 Jungle Prince has the class and has never been out of the money on the Hollywood grass. 4-5-6

Race 3

2yo filly’s going 4½ furlongs, No. 3 Miss Dubai has shown speed in all three of her races, No. 6 Giveme Tat Ting is another with some experience and she also has speed, No. 8 Slewkaysa will improve today with the drop. 3-6-8

Race 4

No. 4 Phelps Street will have to be caught, No. 6 South Of France will be the one that will be trying to run down Phelps Street down the lane. 4-6

Race 5

No. 3 Justice Is Brief has good speed and has won on this course, No. 4 Welken just lost by a nostril in her last race -- a race in which she was two lengths in front of Justice Is Brief. No. 10 Janzig Moon gets her third start off the layoff for trainer Howard Zucker who has had his horses ready to roll, this girl is the one to beat and the price will be okay.

The Doug O’Neill entry of No. 1 Mi Rey and No. 1A Satellite look very tough in here, No. 10 Trilliant is a steady sort who will appreciate the drop in class. 1-1A-10

Race 1

No. 2 See Eye To Eye and No. 5 Lady Dawn are the only two time winners in the race. 2-5

Race 2

No. 3 Stormy Vow gets a big time class hike as trainer Miyadi puts this girl back on the grass with R Baze taking over, she broke her maiden on the grass here at the Gate at this distance with R Baze riding. No. 4 Be So Special has the speed to wire these, No. 5 Cassie’s Mark is in top form and will have her say at the finish. 3-4-5

No. 3 Monica’s Edge has run back-to-back good races on this turf course and looks like she will be part of the exotics once again. No. 5 Saint Cindy will be odds on as she drops from the ranks of straight maidens at Santa Anita and is now running for 32k here at the Gate, that is a big drop in class. No. 6 Juliesdiorbracelet has the speed to keep Cindy honest. 3-5-6
