UNDER-ESTIMATED: No way we thought the under would go 22-7-1 the first two days on interleague play. We will definitely be looking forward to June 12-28 when the second and final batch of interleague matchups begin. The NL so far leads 22-20.
OUR X’s ON TEXAS: We said last week to watch that Texas-Houston interleague series and hopefully you backed the red hot Rangers during their 3-game sweep. Texas games are no longer dominated by overs. The under was 2-0-1, including a 5-0 shutout Sunday behind Brandon McCarthy. Maybe McCarthy represents change. The over was 8-0 in his first eight starts. Now his last two have gone under the projected total.
TWIN PERSONALITIES: If you are looking for home/road disparity, the Minnesota Twins is your best buy. The Twins are 17-9 at the Metrodome and 5-14 on the road. Minnesota is home for four games ending Thursday against Boston. The Red Sox are 17-6 at home, 9-12 away.
