Rangers -147 vs A’s (10)

Get out the brooms as Texas goes for the four-game sweep. Last night’s 14-1 victory put the Rangers 11 games over .500 (30-19) for the first time this season. Texas has outscored Oakland 16-5 in the series, which is especially bad news for Oakland starter Donnie Braden. The A’s lefty leads the AL in lowest run support, getting an average of just 2.67 runs in his starts.

Texas starts its ace Kevin Millwood, who has a 5-3 lifetime mark against Oakland. Rangers closer Frank Francisco has 11 saves and has not allowed an earned run all season, covering some 18 innings. The -147 price is very reasonable considering that Texas is 11 games ahead of the A’s in the AL West. RANGERS.

Bonus selection (baseball): Cincinnati-Milwaukee OVER 8.
