The M Resort hotel/casino in Las Vegas announced today the addition of Major League Baseball to its menu of sports available to "in-running" betting, which will also be available this weekend on the Belmont Stakes.
Relying on technology supplied by Cantor Gaming, in-running betting allows gamblers to place bets at any time, from the start of the game, right up until the end, on wagers such as the game outcome; the over/under of total runs; and at the top of each inning, on whether either team would score during that inning.

"We are pleased to have introduced in-running for baseball, and as the season progresses we will be providing in-running wagering for baseball on a daily basis," said Lee Amaitis, president and CEO of Cantor Gaming. "We are also looking forward to the Belmont Stakes this weekend after the success of the Kentucky Derby and Preakness.
"The M Resort’s guests are becoming extremely interested in the new opportunities that in-running offers sports fans and getting really comfortable with the in-running technology," he continued. "It should make this 141st running of the Belmont Stakes a very exciting event at the M Sports Book."
In-running was launched at the M Resort in March of this year for the NCAA championship and has been running throughout the NBA playoffs.
"We are extremely pleased at the popularity of in-running, particularly given that the concept is brand new to most of our guests," said Joseph A. Magliarditi, executive vice president and COO of M Resort. "It has made the M Resort’s Race and Sports Book a top destination for sports enthusiasts."
