Race 1

It looks as though No. 3 Sheza Maneater and No. 5 Irish Express will wing out a fast pace in this race, if they hook up it will set things up for distance specialist No. 2 E Bee Girl and No. 7 Mikey Bones who will be running late. 2-7 with 3-5

Key Play

$1 tri 2-7 with 2-3-5-7 with 2-3-5-7 for $12

Race 2

No. 3 Irish Gypsy exits a key race, a race in which she finished third despite much trouble, look for a big run today at what will be a nice price. No. 7 Dish The Dirt will be making a run down the stretch and just may fall into some tiring speed. No. 4 G’s Heavenly Union gets a turn back in distance and just may be coming late at a big price.

Race 3

No. 2 Cry And Catch Me has talent but has had her problems staying healthy, she comes back in what looks to be a good spot, No. 3 Inspiration Within likes this track and will be putting in her usual last run, No. 4 Witchy Meeting will also be making a late run. 2-3-4

Race 4

Let’s try and light it up in this race and take a shot with No. 2 Swiss Marci who was eliminated early in her last start but has come back to work fast and gets the hustling Delgadillo in the irons, at 20/1 or higher we will play. 2 with 1-9

Race 5

No. 5 Leavethegateopen won his only start on the grass and will get stretched out today and looks to be the speed of the speed. No. 9 Mensa Heat was scratched on Thursday for this easier spot, No. 6 Overtime Victory has some longshot potential and his trainer Stein popped with a $200 horse on Thursday. 5-6-9

Race 6

No. 1 Hot N’Dusty never puts in a bad effort, No. 4 Step Softly has some speed and will find this group much easier than the last bunch of girls she faced at Santa Anita. 1-4

Race 7

No. 4 Patricia’s Gem has found a home on the lawn, No. 6 Soft Shoe Shuffle exits our HTW list and will be flying late. 4-6

The GR II Hollywood Oaks

Gomez flies in to ride No. 2 Lady Lumberjack who will sit right off the early speed and pounce down the lane. No. 3 Carlsbad has high speed and will have to be caught. No. 6 Evita Argentina will be coming from far back. No. 8 Kays And Jays has won two straight since landing in the Mike Mitchell barn and will be out there keeping Carlsbad honest. No. 7 Third Down will rebound after a bad trip to Keeneland. 2-3-6-7-8

Race 9

No. 3 Acton In May tried the grass at the Gate but just did not fire, he returns and will go better today on the main track. No. 10 Sun Lightning exits our HTW list and looks to be on the improve for trainer Paddy Gallagher, he could pop at a big price. Paddy also sends out his stablemate, the speedy No. 12 Personality Kid. 3-10-12

GOLDEN GATE FIELDS

Race 1

No. 3 Time To Honor makes his first start off the Hollendorfer claim, No. 4 Portland Storm gets Alvarado back in the irons, he won with this guy one race back. 3-4

Race 2

No. 3 Legacy and Lace looks set off the layoff for trainer Knight. 3

No. 5 Searchforthetruth will be making a big late run and will appreciate the return to the Gate and the synthetic surface. 5

20k maidens going 1 1/16 on the grass, No. 2 Princeton Wind has run two good races on this course, No. 6 Derive ships in, drops and is the horse to beat. 2-6

Race 7

In an impossible race, let’s take a shot with the lightly raced No. 10 The Cat is Loose who gets stretched out for the first time. 10

Race 8

No. 1 Parko gets a big time class hike off a nice win, No. 3 McMurtry will be a pace factor from start to finish, No. 6 Taco Willy will be the one to fear late. 1-3-6

Race 9

No. 1 Outlaw James will find a ton of speed to launch is late kick, if he is ready he wins. 1

Race 10

No. 1 Rogue River has had his chances and will now try the grass. 1
