A’s -112 vs Orioles (8½)
Baltimore has lost three straight and 5 of 6, including last night’s opener to the A’s. Oakland has won four in a row and 5 of 6. More importantly 11 of the last 13 Oakland games have fallen under the projected total. With Friday’s game going over the total, this sets up nicely for a bounce back.
Orioles righty Jason Berken has allowed just three earned runs in his two major league starts as he fights for a permanent spot in the rotation. Oakland righty Trevor Cahill has had three straight solid outings, but the results haven’t been there. Cahill is just 2-5 on the season and the A’s have lost in his last four starts. So even with Oakland hot, it may be safer to look for a low-scoring game. UNDER.
