Major League Baseball

San Diego Padres at L.A. Dodgers -210

The Dodgers hope to continue the slugfest they started yesterday with four home runs. They might get their chance facing the Padres’ Wade LeBlanc, just called up from the club’s Triple A team in Portland. The lefty last season had an 8.02 ERA over five games. In the minor league this season, LeBlanc had an ERA of 4.29 over 51 1/3 innings. Dodger pitcher Clay Kershaw (3-4, 4.26 ERA) has a pair of no decisions against the Padres this season, tossing a combined 12 innings while allowing one run on six hits with six walks and nine strikeouts. L.A. should be able to out-score the Padres in this one, so the play here is to lay the 1 ½ runs with the Dodgers. L.A. Dodgers -1 ½ runs.
