Mark Lipparelli has been named executive vice president of Shuffle Master Gaming (SHFL) in a recent organizational restructuring announced by Dr. Mark Yoseloff, president and CEO.
Lipparelli will be responsible for the company’s sales operations, service and other functions, including overseeing its video and slot product businesses.
Brooke Dunn, former vice president of marketing, has been promoted to senior vice president of marketing. Dominic Silla has been elevated to executive director of sales. Linda Witt has been named director of sales administration.
Other promotions include: Mick Martinek, former manager of new software development, now director of product development for video and operating system, and Fred Lychock, former director of product development, to product manager for OEM Development.
Also reorganizing is the board of directors of JCC Holding Co., operator of Harrah’s New Orleans casino. Harrah’s Entertainment (HET) Chairman and CEO Phil Satre said he felt the time was right "to realign JCC Holding into a structure that focuses more narrowly on its public company accounting and reporting responsibilities."
Named to the board were: Paul Debban, managing director of Reorganized Securities Group, a division of Seidler Companies Inc., longtime investors in Harrah’s; Preston Smart, chairman and CEO of BayVen Capital Inc., a privately held investment firm; Rudy Cerone, a partner in the law firm of McGlinchey Stafford; Eddie Williams, president and CEO of the Joint Center for Political and Economic Studies; Anthony Sanfilippo, president of Harrah’s Central Division; and Chris Lowden, a former top executive of Santa Fe Gaming Corp. of Las Vegas.
Park Place Entertainment (PPE) has named Kim Sinatra as senior vice president and deputy general counsel and Steven Bell as senior vice president, human resources.
Larry Smith, longtime executive with International Business Machines, has joined GTECH Holdings (GTK) as senior vice president and chief development officer.
Scott Cooper has been named president and general manager of Wheeling Downs greyhound and slot track.
The track recently received approval to increase the number of video lottery terminals to 1,400.
