It’s the start of a long, hot summer in Nevada, but United Coin’s new Cash Call promotion can be worth a cool $1,000 per day for Gamblers Bonus club members.

Beginning Tuesday (June 30) and continuing through July 31, Gamblers Bonus members can register to win up to $1,000 cash daily simply by registering from their cellular phones.

Every club member who calls 1-866-CashCall by midnight receives a text message the following morning, which includes the amount of the prize won.

To redeem the prize, the recipient logs onto his or her account at any Gamblers Bonus location prior to midnight. Prizes are in the form of points (up to 1 million of them!), which can be used for either free play or redeemed for cash.

Non-club members can use the Cash Call phone number to get information about joining Gamblers Bonus.

"This promotion offers an easy and risk-free way for members to win cash from the Gamblers Bonus Point awards," said Steve Arntzen, chief operating officer of United Coin. "It’s a clear winner, particularly in this economy."

Arntzen added that the Cash Call promotion is actually a new and improved version of a similar mobile, text-messaging promotion introduced in 2005.

"At the time, we had 4,000 people a day calling in and paid out more than $240,000," he said. "Given the larger base of Gamblers Bonus slot club members today and the evolution and greater acceptance of text messaging in 2009 versus 2005, we expect the promotion to be even stronger with a projected cash distribution of more than $300,000."

Gamblers Bonus currently has a customer database of more than 70,000 people, Arntzen said, each one capable of receiving a daily prize just by calling in.

"The customer has a chance to win up to a million points every single day, with the minimum prize being a thousand points," he said.

As the state’s largest slot route operator with more than 6,500 machines, United Coin Machine Company and its Gamblers Bonus brand is recognized in over 450 locations statewide.

Those locations include 7-Eleven and Circle K convenience stores, high-profile taverns and restaurants such as Magoo’s, Bully’s, Buffalo Wild Wings, Timbers, Village Pub and Doc Holiday’s, as well as small to medium-size casinos like the Gold Spike, Longhorn, Bighorn and Barcelona.

And, while a handful of machines in a 7-Eleven, Raley’s or Food 4 Less doesn’t sound imposing, the business they collectively generate is significant.

On an annual basis, United Coin pays out about 33,000 taxable jackpots (W2-G required) worth more than $100 million.

Currently Gamblers Bonus averages more than 1,000 new members each month with monthly redemptions averaging in excess of $1.3 million.

"Gamblers Bonus members still enjoy receiving ‘Cash for Play’ and not just ‘Free Play’ like many other players clubs," Arntzen said. "This is just one reason Gamblers Bonus members are among the most loyal slot club members in the state."
