HOLLYWOOD PARK

Race 1

We start Independence Day off at Hollywood Park with a very contentious five-horse field, all five can win, we will take our shot with No. 1 Sleep Tight and No. 4 Inspiration Within. If you are running late don’t hurry. 1-4

Race 2

No. 2 Maggie And Hopie just did miss in her fist start off the layoff, she will be right there if there is no bounce. No. 7 Suziqcutie is dropped by O’Neil and gets the services of Bejarano, she is the one to beat. 2-7**

Race 3

No. 5 Milky Bones is a very interesting play, O’Neill brought this girl back on almost a year on the shelf for 8k and she won for fun, he then moved her up to 16k and again won for fun and now he puts her on the grass in this allowance race, he must really like how she is doing. O’Neill also sends out the speedy No. 4 Hudler to insure a quick pace. 5

Race 4

No. 3 Warren’s Allstar may have a speed advantage over these, if he clears early he may be hard to run down. No. 7 Maracade will be putting in a late run. No. 9 Joking Sam drops to the bottom as the Baffert and company give up, he is the one to beat at what will be a short price 3-7-9

Key Play

$2 exacta box 2-7-9 for $12

$4 Q 9 with 2-7 for $8

Race 5

No. 6 Pocosin’s Game Boy gets the cozy six hole for this six furlong turf sprint and Tyler Baze gets back on and he will guy this guy from start to finish. 6

Race 6

There is no speed in this race unless one of the first-time starters can motor early so it is very difficult how the pace will play out. No.4 Waves Of Honour drops and gets off the grass in this his second start off the layoff, he may be faster than his last indicates. 4

Race 7

No. 4 Public Image exits our HTW list, he finally came out of the gate last time out after refusing in two straight. No. 7 Forest Danz likes to win races and gets a weight break as the bug boy Santiago rides today. 4-7

Race 8

Just another sad six-horse field in the American GR2, No. 2 Storm Military ran second in this race last year but his trainer Bobby Frankel is having a very tough meet with just one win and the word on the street is that he is sick. No. 5 Whatsthescript won this race last year and Rosario will have this guy sitting chilly right behind the speed. 2-5***

Race 9

No. 2 Cold Ruler looks ready to run a big race, No. 3 Pediatrics and No. 9 Kickin Caper will be out winging, one will stop and believe it will be 14-time loser Kickin Caper. 2-3

Key Play

$2 pick four

6th 4

7th 4-7

8th 5

9th 2-3 for $8

CHECK FOR LATE SCRATCHES AND HAVE A SAFE FOURTH.
