L.A. Dodgers -145 at New York Mets: The Mets continued their lackluster play at home as they were drubbed by the Dodgers 8-0. In that contest, the Mets could muster only four meaningless hits as the Dodgers racked up 13 hits. Over the past eight games, the Mets are being out-hit by the opposition to the tune of about .310 to .245. Equally important, the opposition’s on-base-percentage is approaching .400, which is a recipe for disaster. There’s no reason to expect Perez will turn things around for New York, as his ERA has eclipsed 7 over the last three outings. Let’s stick with the Dodgers as they appear poised for a big road run. L.A. Dodgers -145.
