Race 1

Trainer Cerin has his stable geared up for the meet and he sends out No. 5 Stevie’s Afleet who will sit right behind the early speed and pounce down the lane. 5

Race 2

In this marathon on the grass 1 3/8 any of the five can win, we will play a double from race one using Stevie’s Afleet with all five in race two. All

Key Play

$2 double

1st 5

2nd all (five) for $10

Race 3

Jerry Hollendorfer brings in No. 1 Blind Luck from Florida where this 2yo won at first asking by more than 13 lengths, he puts her in a claim proof starter allowance race and Rosario rides. No. 6 Lovers House is another that won at first asking and she won by five lengths going away in her first start for trainer Doug O’Neill, she also exits our HTW list and looks like the one to beat. 1-6

Key Play

$5 Q 1-6 for $5

$10 win and place 6 for $20

Race 4

No. 2 Kaptain Koardough gets his first start off the Doug O’Neill claim and shows a nice work since that last race when he missed by a nostril, the only drawback is that G Gomez is in the irons and he has been riding in a fog. No. 3 Jamieson has some early foot and gets a boost back up in class by a very underrated trainer. No. 7 Juice Committee gets the drop into the maiden claiming ranks for the first time by Carla Gaines who loves to win races here at Del Mar, this one is very live on the drop. No. 9 Blaze Of Eminence could be ready to fire at first asking. 2-3-7-9

Key Play

$2 double

3rd 1-6

4th 2-3-7-9 for $16

Race 5

No. 1 Mikey Bones gets off the turf and back on the synthetic where she won two straight. She will get a great rail trip by the hot riding Tyler Baze. No. 3 Cato Maor is looking for the hat trick and shows a win at this flat mile distance. No. 8 Lullabytime drops trying to cash. 1-3-8

Race 6

No. 6 Cherryblossommiss exits our HTW list and gets her second start off the layoff and off a very troubled trip, a race in which she was best, she looks set for graduation today if G Gomez can keep her out of trouble and does not take her too far back and try and make a 10-wide closing run. 6

Key Play

$2 double

5th 1-3-8

6th 6 for $6

$10 win and place 6 for $20

Race 7

No. 2 Pokomoke won here last year on the grass at this distance. No. 6 Justice Is Brief is looking for the hat trick and also won here last year. She doesn’t need the lead and will be sitting right off the hot pace. 2-6

Race 8

No. 1 Swiss Exploit was well bet in his first start and made a four wide winning move, he could be sitting perfectly turning for home. No. 5 Chocolate Marini broke his maiden at this 5½ furlong distance and will be coming late. No. 9 Daylight Storm shows two good efforts at this distance including the maiden breaker. 1-5-9

Key Play

$2 double

7th 2-6

8th 1-5-9 for $12

Race 9

No. 2 Our Storm looks like the key horse in this race, she almost always runs her race and her last win came at this 10k claiming price. No. 4 Forest Miss last won with Rosario in the irons and he is back aboard. No. 5 Fool’s Paradise won both of her starts here at Del Mar last year and gets a big break in the weights with the bug boy riding. No. 6 Dancing With Tigers gets off the grass and takes a drop in class which will add up to a much better performance. No. 9 Recess drops off the O’Neill claim which is not a good sign but the hot riding Tyler Baze gets on board. 2*-4-5-6-9

Key Play

$2 Q 2 with 4-5-6-9 for $8

.10 cent super box 2-4-5-6-9 for $12
