Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino will present the classic sounds of REO Speedwagon at Mandalay Beach on Friday, at 9 p.m.

This concert marks the group’s return to the Mandalay Bay’s Beach stage. REO Speedwagon delivered the sold-out debut concert performance at the beach in 1999.

The Bay Rock summer beach concert series shows are held at the one-of-a-kind Mandalay Bay Beach Stage where concert-goers are invited to bring their blankets and sit on the beach or wade into the surf and listen to the music from the famous 1.6 million gallon wavepool. Bay Rock offers a truly unique concert experience. Bay Rock is sponsored in conjunction with 97.1 The Point and Fosters Australian Beer.

REO Speedwagon returns to perform an extensive set of favorites such as “Keep Pushin’,” “Ridin’ the Storm Out,” “I Can’t Fight This Feeling,” “Don’t Let Him Go,” “Keep On Loving You,” and “Tough Guys.”

REO Speedwagon features singer/songwriter Kevin Cronin, keyboardist and founding member Neal Doughty, and original bass guitarist Bruce Hall, lead guitarist Dave Amato and drummer Bryan Hitt. At last New Year’s Eve show, REO Speedwagon performed to a sold-out audience at the Mandalay Bay Events Center with legendary rock band, Journey.

The Mandalay Beach Stage is set in an 11-acre beach environment. The giant wave pool is framed by palms, waterfalls and giant fire pots, and encircles the stage itself.

Tickets for REO Speedwagon are available at the Mandalay Bay Theatre Box Office and all TicketMaster outlets. Tickets for this performance are priced at $35 in advance and $40 the day of the show. To charge by phone call (702) 474-4000.
