Florida's July gaming revenue down 9.1%

According to data released by the Florida Division of Pari-mutuel Wagering, July net gaming revenue fell 9.1%, to $15.5 million among the state’s three racinos. The number of positions (betting stations) fell 0.2%, while win per position was off 8.9%.

Gulfstream Park continued its positive momentum, posting an 18.1% gain in revenue for the month and 8.2% over the last 12 months.

Pompano Park continues to battle the new compact for the Seminole Hard Rock properties that have begun table game operations and full Class III operations coupled with a modest tax rate.
