Major League Baseball:
Dodgers -125 at Rockies (9 OVER): The Rockies have made a move lately and trail the Dodgers by only three games in the Division. Plus, they are in the Wild Card driver’s seat, but they have their sights set on catching the Dodgers. L.A. just took three of four from the hapless Chicago Cubs so they should feel pretty good here. However, starting pitcher Clayton Kershaw hasn’t fared well of late as the Dodgers are 0-6 in the lefty’s last six starts. He still has a decent ERA, however, and the Dodgers should be able to score some runs off Jason Hammel (ERA of 7.02 at Coors Field). With that record, there should be some runs scored, making the OVER play in order, with a slight lean to the visiting Dodgers. Los Angeles -125 and OVER 9.
