Race 1

No. 11 Sven Diesel was big steam in his first start for trainer Eurton, he ran a very good second and is now jumped in class. If he gets a good pace he will win. Diesel also exits our HTW list, and the horse that beat him that day is running in a starter allowance race tomorrow. 11

Key Play

$10 win and place 11 for $20

Race 2

No. 4 Citizens Brigade looked good breaking his maiden here on Aug. 12 when shipping in from Churchill Downs. He looks perfectly spotted for another big effort. 4

Race 3

No. 1 Flyinginformation was one of four heads on the wire last time out; she was red-tagged that day by trainer Mike Mitchell who promptly gives her a double jump in class. He must like what he bought. No. 4 Copybreak comes off a layoff for trainer Gary Mandella. He drops her in class and puts her on the synthetic which will add up to a big run today. 1-4

Key Play

$5 double

2nd 4

3rd 1-4 for $10

Race 4

Trainer Peter Miller looks to have a strong entry in this 5 furlong turf sprint as he saddles the speedster No. 1 Its In God’s Hands and the closer No. 1A Noblety, he looks to have them surrounded. No. 5 Wine On The Porch has some speed of his own and has never been off the board. No. 7 A Lil Dumaani is very consistent and his last race makes him a contender. 1-5-7

4th 1-5-7

5th 5-6 for $12

Race 6

This is a very wide open 25k maiden claimer for fillies and mares; we will side with No. 2 Dreams Afleet who comes off a big layoff but layoff horses have been winning here at Del Mar. No. 5 Annie’s Loaded another layoff horse that had a troubled trip in her one and only start. No. 8 Brewha Baby another who has not been seen for over a year, in fact it is almost a year to the day when this girl was last seen here at Del Mar running in an 80k maiden claimer. No. 12 Terrify looks live at first asking off of that big 4 furlong work on Aug. 29. 2-5-8-9

Race 8

No. 2 Evita Argentina will be putting in her usual big late run, No. 4 Lady Lumberjack ran right behind Evita in that last common race, No. 6 Ashley’s Kitty is two for two here at Del Mar and had her race on the track in a nice winning effort on Aug. 16. No. 8 Carlsbad will be out winging and try and take them wire-to-wire. 2-4-6-8

Race 9

No. 4 Escape The Storm and No. 6 De Brief Me look to be the key horses in this 25k maiden race with No. 7 Café Con Leche, a horse that exits our HTW list and No. 10 Morton Owen right there also. 4-6 with 7-10
