NFL football:

Minnesota Vikings -3 ½ at Cleveland Browns: This line opened at 4 ½ and has been bet down, which doesn’t seem to make much sense. The Browns are using a quarterback, Brady Quinn, with only three starts in the league, along with a rookie center. Plus, the Vikings are solid from top to bottom, with a hard-hitting defense and a superior rushing attack. Moreover, the Browns haven’t fared well in season openers, winning only two of them since the new franchise (the original team went to Baltimore) hit town. Minnesota should win this one, with or without Brett Favre at the help. Vikings -3 ½
