2 FOR TUESDAY Richard Saber

METS AT BRAVES (4:10 PT)

The Braves are playing well, but mostly on the road where they have a better record than at home. The lowly mets will help reverse that trend. BRAVES.

ANGELS AT RED SOX (4:10 PT)

Boston’s lying in wait for the Halos who have a one-day tilt with the Yanks. Boston may want to set a precedent for possible playoff meeting. RED SOX.

2 FOR TUESDAY Sid Diamond

NATIONALS AT PHILLIES (4:05 PT)

Cliff Lee takes the mound for Philadelphia, which isn’t good news for a team like Washington. This should be one-sided. PHILLIES -1 1/2 RUNS.

PIRATES AT LOS ANGELES (7:10 PT)

Los Angeles is doing enough to keep their lead in the National League’s West division. They should have no trouble with the Pirates. DODGERS - 1/2 RUNS.
