Major League Baseball:

Pittsburgh Pirates at L.A. Dodgers -240: The Dodgers are a prohibitive favorite, as we’ve seen all season long, underdogs at +200 or better invariably raise up and bite the favorite in their baggy pants. Pittsburgh, however, has been dismal in this role – they’re 0-6 as a road dog of +200 or higher. Moreover, they’re starting a pitcher, Zack Duke, who has lost three straight, while allowing a stratospheric 12.4 earned runs. Wolf, on the other hand, has won two of his last three starts while compiling a solid 2.2 ERA. We saw the Dodgers’ bats come to life Monday night, and they should continue the string here. Let’s lay the run line with the home boys. Dodgers -1½ runs @ -115.
