NFL football:

New Orleans -6½ at Buffalo (total 51): The Saints looked unstoppable in their first two games, but it was against winless Detroit and Philadelphia without its quarterback, Donavan McNabb. Meanwhile, the Bills just missed against New England and overran Tampa Bay. Buffalo should be able to keep up with the high-flying Saints in what most likely will be a shoot-out. Buffalo +6½ and OVER 51 points.

Pittsburgh -3½ at Cincinnati: The Steelers were exposed against the Bears last week – they had trouble running the ball and protecting Ben Roethlisberger from a relentless pass rush. The Steelers defense also misses all-pro Troy Palomalu and could have trouble containing Cincinnati’s Chad Ochocinco. There’s also added incentive for the Bengals. They haven’t beaten Pittsburgh in Cincinnati since 2001, and they haven’t forgotten how a couple of vicious hits took out Carson Palmer’s knee and broke the jaw Keith Rivers. Cincinnati +3½

Other NFL plays for Sunday:

Tennessee Titans +2½ over New York Jets

Denver Broncos -1½ over Oakland Raiders
