College football:

Colorado at Oklahoma State -17: On first glance, you’d look to the Cowboys in this spot. They’re playing at home and probably want a nice showing on national TV to impress the BCS Bowl committee. The problem is quarterback Zac Robinson is hurt and not likely to play. That leaves back-up Alex Cate, who has never started a game for Oklahoma State. Nonetheless, Colorado has been a disaster on the road, having lost 11 straight, with their five losses this season by slightly over two touchdowns per game. Colorado had a nice upset of Kansas last month, but has lost three of four since then. In those three losses they scored a total of 30 points. If they can’t do better than that, they won’t keep up with Oklahoma State. And with quarterback Tyler Hansen still calling signals, it’s not likely the Buffaloes’ offense will improve.
