Las Vegas Sports Consultants has appeared to strike “gold” with the latest innovation to sports gaming software.

SportSignal Gold, designed strictly for the trade, is an automated delivery platform that provides licensed sports gaming operations with accurate, real-time, comprehensive odds, weather updates, injury reports and lines for sporting events. “The new service has worldwide implications, but we are concentrating on Las Vegas casinos for their input,” LVSC vice president and general manager Cliff Matis said in a telephone interview Friday from his Fort Lauderdale, Fla., office.

SportSignal Gold also features scoring for sporting events, which is archived for future reference. It employs technologies that have been engineered to respond to clients’ needs for current and accurate information.

“The product was under development for over a year,” Matis said. “We can now provide more data quicker, while being more user-friendly.” The old Sport Tracks system listed approximately eight casinos both in Nevada and offshore. SportSignal Gold can account for 20 casino listings. “Certain places that didn’t use our service before are now using SportSignal Gold,” Matis said. “We are very pleased with the response to the new software. Coast is the only major one not using the service, and we are trying to convert them.” LVSC, which also has a local office on Grier Drive, has been providing gaming information since 1982 to 90 percent of Nevada’s licensed sports books, along with legal bookmaking operations and sports lotteries in the United States, Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean, England, Ireland and Australia.

“We are very pleased with the new relationships made with the major multiple casino operators,” Matis said. “We are hoping for bigger and better things in the future.”

SportSignal Gold has been available to the trades since June 15.
