Rep. John LaFalce, D-N.Y., introduced legislation in Washington last Friday to ban the use of credit cards or any other financial instruments to pay for Internet gambling.

The move occurred one day after LaFalce introduced a measure to prohibit casinos from offering ATMs and credit card cash advance machines next to gambling tables.

Both bills may come up this week when a House Financial Services subcommittee conducts its second hearing this month on Internet gambling.
