The attorney prevailed in the case of the third annual Tournament of Champions poker tournament held last weekend at The Orleans.

Brian Saltus of Idaho held off veteran poker champ T.J. Cloutier to capture his first title. Saltus walked off with $230,000 for his effort.

Rounding out the top finishers was former World Champion Scotty Ngyen in third place.

For most of the final day of play, Saltus held a good position while not being too aggresive and making it to the fina cut. Saltus took the title when his winning straight over came Cloutier’s near straight. When it was over, Saltus expressed joy and wonder at how he prevailed.
