The NCAA's continual fight against legal sports betting in Nevada has caused the University of Pennsylvania to change its travel plans over Thanksgiving.

The Quakers were scheduled to stay at the Paris/Las Vegas Hotel, which was hosting the Las Vegas Invitational. The site of the event was shifted to the Cashman Center, about a mile from any casino.

The participating teams are Penn, Eastern Illinois, Georgia Tech, Hartford, Illinois, Iowa State, St. Louis and Southern Illinois. Penn coach Fran Dunphy said he was in favor of the switch in venue.
